Laminate Veneers
It is a treatment method in which aesthetic problems are corrected by bonding very thin porcelain leaflets prepared in the desired color, length and form to the front surfaces of teeth. Unlike crown coating applications, this method does not require much cutting of healthy teeth. It can generally be applied without cutting the teeth at all, or by removing a very thin tooth layer of 0.3-0.5 mm from the front surfaces of the teeth. The prepared leaf porcelains are bonded to the tooth surfaces with special bonding (special adhesive intermediate) techniques. Since they are very thin and do not contain metal, they allow the incoming light to pass through. In this way, they look like natural teeth and their aesthetic appearance is extremely successful.
Laminates can be used for years without any problems with good oral care. Because they are made of porcelain, which has superior properties than other adhesive systems (bonding). They are more resistant to staining and abrasion. In order to extend their life, it is necessary to pay attention to oral care. In addition, it is necessary to avoid bad habits such as biting very hard foods and biting nails.

What is a dental veneer (crown veneer) and why is it used?
It is the complete covering of a tooth with an aesthetic material, usually made of porcelain. In order to be able to make a veneer, a 1 mm cut must be made from the tooth's perimeter. Its purpose is to beautify, strengthen and protect the tooth.
A crown can be made in the following cases;
To restore a large filling in the absence of sufficient tooth support,
To prevent weak teeth from breaking,
As a superstructure for a dental implant,
To cover broken, deformed or discolored teeth.
When crowning teeth, there are different material alternatives such as metal, metal-supported porcelain crowns, reinforced porcelain or zirconium substructure full porcelain crowns, metal crowns.
Metal-Supported Porcelain Crowns: It consists of a metal substructure and an aesthetic porcelain sitting on this structure.
Full Porcelain Crowns: Metal-free full porcelain crowns with light transmittance similar to natural teeth can be used in the front group teeth where aesthetics are important. Since there is no need for a metal substructure in these crowns, more aesthetic results can be achieved.
Metal Crowns: These are crowns made entirely of metal such as gold, chrome, cobalt. The area of use of these crowns is limited and they are used in cases where there is not enough space for porcelain crowns in the back areas and jaws that do not pose an aesthetic problem.
The substructure of metal-supported crowns is made of gray metal and its resistance is higher than zirconium. It can create a gray reflection in patients with thin gum structure in terms of aesthetics.
The substructure of zirconium-supported crowns is made of a white material called zirconium. Therefore, it does not create a gray reflection under the gum. The superstructure of both materials is covered with porcelain.
Bridges
Bridges are prostheses made by taking support from other adjacent teeth in order to make a prosthesis instead of missing teeth.
If a bridge is not made, the patient's neighboring teeth and the opposing tooth in the other jaw move towards the extraction gap. Therefore, the disrupted tooth closure leads to cavities and tooth loss.
Just like the veneer, it is made by shaping the supporting teeth by your dentist and performing the same procedures.
